Admissions Procedure

     If you are interested in enrolling your child at Ogden Valley Montessori School, please call the school at (801)745-3383 to set up an appointment for you and your child to tour the school.  Our administrative assistant will arrange this for you.  The school is located at 5460 East 2200 North, Eden (opposite the General Store, by Eden Park).

     At least one parent/guardian should be present during this visit, which will last about 20 minutes.  Your child may also be invited to “shadow” in the class he or she is eligible to attend.  “Shadowing” is an opportunity for your child to attend class for a day or morning, and involves an informal assessment.  It gives both the child and teacher an idea of how well the child would fit in this new learning  environment.

     Once your child is accepted, you will be given an Admission Agreement and other forms to complete prior to the child’s first day of attendance.  There is a one-time application fee of $50 and an annual program fee of $150, both of which are non-refundable. 

     Please ensure that your child’s immunizations are current and bring a copy of them to the office before the first day of school. This is a state-mandated requirement.  (See our Parent Handbook, section entitled Health Policy).
